MATCH RETURNS - A REMINDER

7th May 2010

The League is about to enter it's fourth weekend, and despite attempts to make the match return process as simple as possible several submissions have failed to meet the requested standard.

To date 30 of the 108 returns received have either contained ommisions or errors, on each and every occasion this means the League's time and money is being wasted chasing clubs for information. I would hope that clubs find this unacceptable and would wish to remedy this as a matter of urgency. If the situation does not improve the Senior Cricket Committee will look at what needs to be done to gain compliance.

In case there is any doubt the following is an example of what should be returned -

Email Subject Box  - Team A v Team B (Division 1)

TEAM A

1 Name

2 Name (J) if the player is a junior

3 Name

4 Name

5 Name runs (if a player makes 40 or more)

6 Name

7 Name wkts/runs (if a bowler takes 4 or more wickets)

8 Name

9 Name

10 Name

11 If the team had  less than 11 players then note this

Then do the same for TEAM B

NOTHING MORE IS REQUIRED AND NONE OF THE ABOVE SHOULD BE MISSING
