PLAYER QUALIFICATION FOR THE HARE CUP - A REMINDER

The Hare Cup gets under way on Sunday and I would remind all Captains, Coaches and Selectors of the existing AND new rule (as advised at the AGM) relating to juniors playing in Cup cricket...

17.7 There will be NO dispensation for juniors with regard to Rule 19.1 which covers Cup competitions.......

19.1 Where a club has two teams and either or both are duly entered in any competition in the League no player shall be eligible to play in any round of the Reserve Evening Cup or Hare Cup if he has played more League Championship matches for the first team than for the reserve team upto and including the Saturday preceding any Reserve Cup round or the Hare Cup.......

Please be mindful of the new rule when selecting players as failure to comply with the above rules will lead to the match been awarded to your opponents.
